A gorgeous French bob I taught a while back. This one has a bit more structure to it, something I was able to achieve by doing shorter strokes with my razor. And then I removed tons of weight to get the balance just right so as it grows out it will be loose and beautiful and keep its silhouette. No triangle or mushroom effect. When it comes to choosing a bob for your face shape, here are a few things I typically keep in mind: * For a very strong jawline and a bit more of a square shaped face, chin length can add balance and look beautiful. * For a rounder shaped face, I really love a bob that when it’s dry sits right at the jaw. Or an inch below the chin. * For a narrow or longer face shape, the corner of the mouth is a beautiful spot for a bob to sit. * A heart shaped face means the cheekbones are much more wide and the jaw is quite a bit more narrow, a bob that’s much shorter and sits at the upper lip is perfect. These are not rules. This is just my personal aesthetic preference. When I cut hair with a razor I leave the hair an inch and a half longer when it’s wet then I want it when it’s dry. I expect it to bounce up a lot even when the hairs stick straight.
